This is a biomass material produced from plant-derived sources using fermentation technology. In addition to being used as a raw material for polyurethane and unsaturated polyester, it is also a raw material for the production of biodegradable resins and the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates. Furthermore, it has applications as an additive in inks and paints, as well as in antifreeze and wetting agents.
